To assist you (and your parents) with completing your 2008-09 FAFSA, the federal processor has made a Pre-Application Worksheet available on the FAFSA web site. The worksheet lists all of the application questions in the order in which they will be presented on the FAFSA on the web. Preparation of the worksheet ahead of time will save you substantial time when completing your FAFSA.

It is imperative that you complete your FAFSA before March 2, 2008 priority filing deadline, even if you and/or your parents are not planning to file your federal tax returns for 2007 before March 2. The FAFSA will allow you to provide estimated income information, which can be corrected at a later date, after the tax returns are completed.
