NOTICE TO FIRST TIME BORROWERS

If you are a first time borrower at UCLA, please make sure that you have completed the following in order to ensure that your loans are ready to be disbursed for fall.

• Complete a Debt Management Session with Student Loan Office (http://www.loans.ucla.edu/dms.html).
  
  
• If you were awarded a Direct Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized Direct Loan, complete a Master Promissory Note for Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans (https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action).
  
  
• If you were awarded a Direct Graduate PLUS Loan, complete a Master Promissory Note for Direct Graduate PLUS Loan (https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action).


• If you were awarded a Direct PLUS Loan, complete the PLUS request process and complete a Master Promissory Note for Direct PLUS Loans (https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/index.action).


• Complete your Master Promissory Notes for Perkins Loan. Please contact Student Loan Office at 310-825-9864 for instructions on how to access your Perkins MPN.
