Financial Aid Disbursements for Spring

Financial Aid for spring will be disbursed to BAR on the evening of March 23, 2007 and refunds will be issued via Bruin Direct on March 27th. If you are not signed up for Bruin Direct or have questions about the status of your refund, please contact Student Accounting at 310-825-9194. If fees are not paid by March 29, 2007, your spring classes will be dropped.

IF YOU ARE AN ENTERING STUDENT FOR 07-08

If you are offered admission to UCLA for Fall 2007 and completed your FAFSA before March 2, the Financial Aid Office will generate an estimate of your eligibility for financial aid - electronic Provisional Award Letter (ePAL) -after your admission decision is released by the Admissions Office.

For entering freshmen, we will start generating ePALs at the end of March.

For transfer students, ePALs will be generated at the end of April.

Graduate students can expect their ePALs in early to mid-April.

Students who applied after March 2, should allow additional time for their estimates to be generated. If you anticipate that you will need to submit an appeal to the Financial Aid Office, please wait until you receive your ePAL before requesting an adjustment.

FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION FOR 07-08

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for 2007-2008 is now available. The priority filing deadline for maximum financial aid consideration is March 2, 2007. UCLA School Code is 001315. Applications completed after the priority filing deadline will be late and late applicants will be considered for limited eligibility of federal aid only. Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete your FAFSA for next year.

NOTE FOR SUMMER APPLICANTS : All summer aid applicants must complete the 2007-08 FAFSA before March 2 in order to be considered on time. In addition, a summer aid application will be required. Summer Travel applications will be available on our web site in March. UCLA Summer Sessions and UC Cross-Campus Enrollment Applications will be available in April.
